Handsewn Zipper Tutorial

YOU WILL NEED:
A zipper
Fur pattern pieces (optional)
Curved needle and thread
Scissors or snips
Nitrile gloves (optional)

Plan on taking 30-45min per side for this task.

To reduce tenderness in your fingers from sewing, wear nitrile gloves. They grip the needle better so you're not clamping your fingertips down on it so hard. You are trying to feed your needle as close to the fur backing as you can, while making sure you are going all the way through it. Keeping fur from being trapped is how you make the zipper invisible!
